Blog N°7: Changes to my study programme
When it comes to think about the changes that i would do on the psychology career the first thing that it comes to my mind is the small amount of practical instances that we had over the career. I think that we study a lot about history of the discipline, that's ok, we had a lot of introductory subjects and we learn a lot about philosophy, sociology, anthropology, biology and more, and when it comes the moment to put in practice something it is very difficult, because we had a lot of theoretical subjects but not enough practical ways of learning.
Another thing that i would like to modify are the ways that the university evaluate us, but i know that this is a thing that compromise the whole education system. Anyways, we had a lot of multiple choice tests and that kind of test cannot evaluate right topics like philosophy or subjects that involve subjective opinions or knowing about historical and long terms processes.
Finally, about the infrastructure Facso need a lot of changes, is a nice and historical faculty, but the difference in terms of inversion in comparison with Bouchef or FEN are abysmal, so this is a thing that the university needs to take care about it, in order to generate more equality conditions to their community.

Hi! I also think that practical instances are extremely rare and very important in our education as professionals.
ReplyDeleteHi, you are right, there are several things that need to be changed. It seems that most careers have few practical subjects in relation to the theoretical ones.
ReplyDeleteIt is true what you mentioned about the difference that the university makes when investing in things like infrastructure, if FACSO is in poor condition, imagine how the arts faculty is.
